NATE Certified Technicians
All of our technicians are NATE certified. NATE, or North American Technician Excellence, is an organization dedicated to bettering the HVAC and Refrigeration industries. For over 20 years, NATE has awarded certifications to hardworking individuals and businesses who are dedicated to serving their communities by satisfying their HVAC needs. Only qualified and knowledgeable individuals are awarded the certification. All of our employees had the skills, knowledge, and experience in order to pass the exam and become NATE certified. Having the NATE certification ensures that we are knowledgeable in every service we offer and can help you no matter the kind of issue you are facing with your HVAC system.
What Must One Do to Become NATE Certified?
There are multiple NATE certifications one can receive based on experience and what they desire to become certified in. These certifications include installation, service, and senior categories. Before receiving the certifications, technicians are recommended to have a certain number of years of experience, depending on the desired certification.
In order to receive a NATE certification, technicians must take two exams: the core exam (if it’s the first NATE certification they are receiving) and the specialty exam, which designates whether they’re focusing on services, installations, or a senior certification.
The core exam ensures that technicians are proficient in all the basics of being a technician before they specialize in something. These basics include tools and safety, basic science and construction, basic electrical, how to take temperature and humidity measurements, and what they need to do in order to achieve the desired comfortable condition in a certain place.
